"Wings of a Butterfly" by H.I.M (Performed by Anna and Santiago)

Santiago:
I turn to the house band and snap my fingers. The music begins and I turn to Anna and smile.

I lean into the mic and sing

Heaven ablaze in our eyes
We're standing still in time
The blood on our hands is the wine
We offer as sacrifice

I wrap my arm around you and pull you close to the mic with me.

Anna:
grins as you pull me close to you and starts singing the chorus with you

Come on, and show them your love
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul, my love...
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul...

dances slowly as you sing the next part, smiling and enjoying the performance

This endless mercy mile
We're crawling side by side...
With hell freezing over in our eyes
Gods kneel before our crime...

walks towards the guitarist and asks him to give the guitar to me, then plays it as we sing the chorus together again

Come on lets show, them your love
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul, my love...
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul...
(Rip out the wings of a butterfly)
Don’t let go...
(Rip out the wings of a butterfly)
For your soul...

does the guitar solo and grins at you

Santiago:
I smile, true performer in Anna. As she plays the guitar solo I walk over, taking my jacket off and putting it around her shoulders.

The chorus begins once again and I hold the mic for Anna as I stand behind her and lean over her shoulder to sing.

Come on lets show, them your love
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul, my love
Rip out the wings of a butterfly
For your soul
(Rip out the wings of a butterfly)
Don't let go, my love
(Rip out the wings of a butterfly)
For your soul... soul... soul... soul...

I lean over and kiss Anna's cheek as the song ends. Taking the mic back to the stand I speak once more into it.
Everyone, give it up for Anna Delacroix!

I turn and applaud with the rest of the audience.
