![]() "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down (Performed by Santiago)
Hopping up on the bar, I pull out a blue electric guitar from behind it and slowly strum a few chords before the sound of drums joins in through the CD playing.
Slowly I raise my head and toss the guitar to Daniel. Putting my foot on one of the barstools in front of me, I send it spinning with my foot as I begin singing.
Picking up the salt shaker, I flip the top off and let the salt pass through the fingers of my other hand when I tip it on end.
Pushing myself off the bar, I walk once around Santino, my eyes watching him closely as I do.
I look at Louis and grin at him.
I move over to Brenda and cover half my face with my hand, letting it slide slowly over to the other side of my face. The eye now showing, giving her a wink.
Walking up behind Cat, I put my hands on her shoulders and whisper in her ear.
Spinning away from Cat, I stalk toward Armand, putting his back against the wall, my lips brushing against his as I sing.
I sidestep from Armand and take a bow before Tiffany, kissing the palm of her hand.
Tilting my head to the side and looking over at Amberlee with a grin after her entrance into the party.
Moving over toward Amberlee, I kiss her cheek and offer a wink.
Approaching Rikki, I take her hand in mine and rise it up, twirling her around once before me.
Stopping her twirl I pull her back against me and kiss her cheek over her shoulder as I continue.
With a flourishing bow before Nicole I offer my hand and guide her out onto the floor during the instrumental part. Spinning her so that her back was to me and slipping my hand about her waist, I pull her back against me. Our bodies move as one sensuous serpent there on the floor and as the instrumental ends, I place a gentle kiss upon the side of her neck.
Approaching Lestat, I push myself back up onto the bar next to where he's standing and rest my arm on his shoulder.
Holding my hand up in front of him, I can't help but smile as he pushes it away and moves over a step so that I have to catch myself on the bar so I don't fall over.
Lestat turns and smiles at me. I pat the bar next to me and with a laugh, he hops up and sits next to me, an arm around my shoulder.
With a motion, I invite Louis over to join us as well. While refusing to jump up on the bar, he does stand between Lestat and I. Together, we all finish out the last chorus. A friendship built in the last three years that would never have been imagined.
Oh, oh, oh With a hug to Louis and Lestat, I hop off the bar and take a bow.
