"Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol (Performed by Santiago)
Never one for patience and silence, I disappear back behind the bar for a while before I come walking out in leather pants and a studded leather jacket, shirtless. You hear an electric beat begin on stage and I run past everyone and jump up on stage, grabbing the mic.
I spin around.
Last night a little dancer came dancin' to my door
Last night a little angel Came pumpin cross my floor
She said "Come on baby I got a licence for love
And if it expires pray help from above" because
I close my eyes, belting out the lyrics as my hand goes into my hair, tilting my head back.
In the midnight hour she cried- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell she cried- "more, more, more"
In the midnight hour babe- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell- "more, more, more"
I look up as Miranda enters the Cabaret, running over to her, I grab her hand and walk toward the stage. Partway there, I turn around and pull her against me so that she is between my legs as I walk backwards. Her face close to mine as I sing.
She don't like slavery, she won't sit and beg
But when I'm tired and lonely she sees me to bed
What sets you free and brought you to be me babe
What sets you free I need you here by me
Because
I turned back around and step up on the stage, helping her up as we both sing into the mic.
In the midnight hour she cried- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell she cried- "more, more, more"
In the midnight hour babe- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell- "more, more, more"
Jokingly I point over at Lestat as Miranda wraps her arms around my waist.
He lives in his own heaven
Collects it to go from the seven eleven
Well he's out all night to collect a fare
Just so long, just so long it don't mess up his hair.
I put my arm back around Miranda and my eyes stare into hers.
I walked the world with you, babe
A thousand miles with you
I dried your tears of pain, babe
A million times for you
I tilt my head and my lips brush against her neck as I sing.
I'd sell my soul for you babe
For money to burn with you
I'd give you all, and have none, babe
Just, just, justa, justa to have you here by me
Because
I stand back up and we both once more sing into the mic.
In the midnight hour she cried- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell she cried- "more, more, more"
In the midnight hour babe- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell she cried "more, more, more"
Pulling Miranda's leg up against my hip, I gently guide her torso over backwards, my hand sliding down the front of her.
Oh yeah little baby
she want more
I bring her back up and smile.
Oh yeah little angel
she want more
As the music ends, Miranda acts like she's trying to walk back off stage but I pull her back to me, our lips stopping just shy of touching.
I smile at her, kiss her cheek and help her down off the stage.
