"She's a Beauty" (Performed by Santiago (for Cristala))

Walking up to Cristala, I motion with my head toward the stage and offer my arm. She looks at me, but I offer a smile. Do I ever disappoint chere?

I lift her up and put her on the stage, a three-sided glass "cage" comes down around her that is about six feet wide. I wink at her as the music begins, I stand at the front of the stage and Nicolas throws me a barker's cane.

Step right up and don't be shy,
because you will not believe your eyes.
She's right here behind the glass
And you're gonna like her,
'cause she's got class.

Nicolas and Laurent both walk forward and turns chairs around, straddling them and sit right in front of me, smiling and talking silently to each other as they point at Cristala.
You can look inside another world.
You get to talk to a pretty girl.
She's everything you dream about...

Nicolas and Laurent look at each other and sing.
But don't fall in love...

I walk up onto the stage and around behind Cristala in the box. My hands start at her shoulders and run down her arms.
She's a beauty ---

Nicolas and Laurent look back at Cristala and sing.
She's one in a million girls,

I hear Laurent give a wolf-whistle as I put my hand on her cheek.
She's a beauty.

Nicolas and Laurent look at each other and sing.
Why would I lie?

I point at Nicolas.
Why would I lie?

I pull Cristala's hair back behind her shoulders as her arms go around my waist. I put my forehead against the side of her head.
You can say anything you like,
but you can't touch the merchandise.
She'll give you every pennies worth,
but it will cost you a dollar first.

I step backwards, bringing Cristala out of the glass box as it quickly rises. Nicolas and Laurent both stand up and walk forward, leaning on the edge of the stage at her feet.
You can step outside your little world.
Laurent: Step outside your world
You can talk to a pretty girl.
Laurent: Ohhh
She's everything you dream about...

Nicolas turns to Laurent looking like he's begging.
But don't fall in love...

I run my hand down her cheek.
She's a beauty ---

Nicolas and Laurent look back at Cristala, Laurent glowers at me.
She's one in a million girls,

I kiss her cheek.
One in a million girls.

Nicolas takes Laurent's hand.
Why would I lie?

I shrug and look at the audience.
Why would I lie?

Nicolas and Laurent hold their hands up and gently take Cristala's arms and lift her off the stage onto the floor.
But don't fall in love...

I remain on stage as Nicolas and Laurent look like they're fawning all over her. She turns and runs back to the stage, sitting at my feet. I raise my arm and point at Laurent.
Because if you do you'll find out she don't love you.

Nicolas and Laurent walk back towards the stage.
She's one in a million girls.

I smile and nod
One in a million girls.

Laurent looks up at me and asks
Why would I lie?

I reply with a smile and ask him
Now why would I lie?

I bring Cristala back up on the stage and pull her close to me, tipping her backwards as you hear Nicolas and Laurent.
Step outside your world.
But don't fall in love.

I bring her back up and smile at her, kissing her cheek.
She's a beauty

Nicolas and Laurent join me on the stage as they circle us.
She's one in a million girls.

A peach colored rose falls from the catwalks above us, I catch it and hand it to Cristala
One in a million girls.

Laurent puts his hand on my shoulder.
Why would I lie?

I look over at him and shrug.
Now why would I lie?

Nicolas puts his hands on Cristala's shoulders and looks at Laurent.
But don't fall in love.

I look back at Nicolas.
Because if you do you'll find out she don't love you.

I offer Cristala my hand as Laurent nods
She's one in a million girls.

I walk off the stage with Cristala.
One in a million girls.

You see the glass cage come back down around Laurent and Nicolas so that the audience has seen the switch of which side of the viewing glass they were seeing from.
Why would I lie?

I smile at Cristala and kiss her hand.
Why would I lie?

Laurent and Nicolas put their hands in their pockets and pull out money, putting it up against the glass as the song fades out with them singing.
But don't fall in love.
She's one in a million girls.
Why would I lie?
