Note: Abigail can blend into any situation. She watches everyone and listens with her mind and heart to ascertain whether or not she is being told the truth. She can also influence other people to believe things, which has been quite helpful in keeping her alive.
Abigail Des Barres - Born to a rich family but she has been on her own since age seven. Her family turned her out at the urging of the local minister, citing that she is a child of the devil—the reasoning behind this being that she could hear the thoughts of everyone around her. She knew that the minister was an evil man. He only wanted to get his hands on her parent’s wealth. Addendum: The minister who prompted the estrangement from her family was eventually discovered in flagrante delicto with a young male and was immediately driven out of town.
We are uncertain as to the discovery of his proclivities, but we can only presume that Abigail finally took matters into her own hands. However, without the proper proof, we are unable to chastise her on this.
An agent who just happened to be passing through her town saved her from madness and starvation. The Order took her in as a ward, educated her, and helped her to control her abilities. She eventually became an agent in her own right by age eighteen on the condition that she be able to stay in America.
She is presently situated as a prostitute in one of the local whorehouses and is currently studying the voodoo community. The Motherhouse has no argument with this arrangement, on the proviso that she remain in constant contact.
